Monica + Jacob | Hale Koa Hotel Wedding | Hawaii Wedding Photographer

At the end of the day, a wedding is all about the beautiful lifetime relationship a couple is starting together. Is it great to celebrate that with a huge party? Yes, sometimes it is! But sometimes it’s also just as wonderful to celebrate it with 30-40 of your best friends and family. That’s what Monica and Jacob did.

They wanted something low-key, but they wanted something that harkened the feel of Hawaii - a place they’ve lived for several years now. Hale Koa is that perfect place. If you’re in the military, I HIGHLY recommend this location for your wedding. It’s beautiful, cheap, and they cover so many things in their packages. Do it!

I didn’t expect to know anyone at this wedding. I talked with Monica and Jacob beforehand and we were set for the day. But I didn’t realize they had gone to the same church I had. I didn’t realize their pastor was my pastor. I didn’t realize they volunteered with my cousin. That’s what’s so awesome about photography. But that’s also what’s so awesome Hawaii. Small island!

Spending time with this wonderful couple was such a blessing. We laughed, sweat, cried... It was a beautiful day, all about the couple, just as it’s supposed to be.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your day, Monica and Jacob!
